Labor Inducing Burger?!? - Potty Time with POTTYMINTS (Ep. 24)

Goooooood Morning Potty People!

If you didn’t already know, as of last Tuesday, we have officially begun… Fall!

Yup! Break out the flannel button down shirts, the large brimmed brunch hats… and who can forget- Pumpkin Spice Latte’s… FALL IS OFFICIALLY HERE!

Now, for some of you, the changing seasons can be difficult to accept… you know who we are talking about… the guy still wearing flip-flops and shorts when there is snow on the ground.

But we love the incredible colors of the changing leaves, which, fun fact, is caused by the amount of sugar in each leaf!

But, perhaps the more important Fall Fact is that more people go from “single” to “in a relationship” or “engaged” in Fall than any other season.

We don’t have a great answer as to why that is, but more babies are conceived in cold months than any other time of year…

Which brings us to this week’s Main Story, courtesy of “The Suburban Restaurant” in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

While “The Suburban” serves many dishes at their family-owned restaurant… they are most famous for their signature burger- “The Labor Inducer Burger”

Yes, you read that correctly… Pregnant women across the country are flocking to Minnesota for the burger they hope will induce their labor.

The so-called "The Labor Inducer" burger features beef, caramelized onion, Cajun remoulade, spicy mustard and honey-cured bacon, all inside a pretzel bun… #delish

But what about the whole… Labor Inducing part?

According to “The Suburban” website, “The Labor Inducer” has helped 31 women go into labor!

See the burger and hear some of the incredible stories in this video here!

We will have to take our “Labor Inducer” burger to-go…

... Because we gotta get to this week’s Potty Picks!

This week was the official re-opening of Broadway in New York City after theaters were closed for over a year and a half due to the pandemic!

Broadway has always been a central piece in what makes NYC truly special, and without it… Times Square just seemed like it was filled with all the people that go to the M&M Store.

But with Broadway back, it feels as though the city is officially back – so to celebrate live theater coming back to NYC we wanted to share with you a performance from the cast of “Wicked”, on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, which just opened back up this week!

If you are vaccinated and are eligible to go, please go see and support live theater!

This week, in honor of our Business Guru/Web/Tech Guy- Matthew Ramirez’s Birthday, we figured we would let him do the honor of choosing this week’s 5 songs for this week’s Potty Picks.

For those of you that are new to the blog, we choose 5 curated songs each week, and add them to our ongoing playlist “Potty Picks” which you can find below.

If you like the playlist and want to stay up to date on all our weekly picks, “Like” and “Follow” the mix!

This week, Matt wanted to feature music from: Alcoa, Cursive, Hop Along, Diet Cig, and Glass Spells!

This past week, Jason Sudeikis and the entire cast of “Ted Lasso” won Outstanding Comedy Series at this year’s Emmys!

During his acceptance speech, Sudeikis tried to thank his former SNL boss, Lorne Michaels for all that he had done for him… only to find out that he had left to use the Bathroom

You have to see this moment here!
