Goooooooood Morning Potty People!
Welcome to our 25th Episode of Potty Time with Pottymints!
We don’t want to waste any time this week, because we think we have our best episode yet for you… So let’s get right into it!
We believe it was the incomparable Bruno Mars who famously said… “I Wanna be a Billionaire so Freakin’ Bad…”
Don’t we all?…(we wouldn’t mind it?!)
Think about it: What would you do with a Billion dollars?
While many people know about Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Bill Gates… Did you know that there are roughly 2,755 Billionaires in the World… and for 4 days, there was one more…
For this week’s Main story, we go to Baton Rougue, Louisiana where we meet real estate agent Darren James.
For James it was just another Baton Rougue morning… he made his morning coffee, getting his kids ready for school when his wife came into the room…
With her phone in hand, she showed him their Chase Account…
… Only to find
… that they now had a balance of…
… wait for it…
…50 BILLION (YES, “BILLION”) DOLLARS!!!
The mind-blowing deposit instantly made the family from Baton Rouge one of the richest people on the planet.
According to Forbes' real-time billionaire's list, the James family with $50 billion in the bank would have been the 25th-richest person in the world, just ahead of Jack Ma, co-founder of Alibaba Group.
However, James “did the right thing” and contacted Chase Bank to inform them of their $50 billion bank error.
“I wasn’t going to keep it. The thing that was most baffling was, we don’t even know where it came from. We don’t know anybody with that kind of money,” James explained.
Despite informing the bank, the Louisiana family were technically billionaires for a total of four days.
“A hold [was] placed on it. It showed up on Saturday to make a deposit for our daughter. It stayed there Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday it was gone,” James noted.
When asked what he would have done with the money, James said: “There’s enough greatness in this world where we can all have a life we never thought was possible, so if I did have $50 billion, I would bless others.”
All we can say is… WOW!
Speaking of blessing others… Let us bless you with this week’s Potty Picks!
October is officially upon us!
That can only mean one thing… prepare your Instagram feeds to be filled with people throwing leaves into the air!
While we do not mind Fall… some people go absolutely crazy for everything that comes with Fall
These days with Instagram and Facebook, some people appear to do certain Fall activities for the photos… these people are called “Basic Bitches”
And no one… I repeat… No one, understands these people like comedian Trey Kennedy
This week’s Video of the Week is Trey Kennedy’s video entitled: “Girls during fall be like…”
While it seemed to be overlooked last week… there was a reunion of epic proportions
Last week, to celebrate their 25th anniversary of their album “The Score” – one of the greatest rap groups of all time, “The Fugees” reunited in NYC!!!
The three members of the Fugees: Wyclef Jean, Ms. Lauryn Hill and Pras Michel put aside their differences to celebrate one of the greatest albums of all time!
This week, to celebrate their greatness… we felt it was only right to feature some of our favorite Fugees tunes!
Check out our 5 Potty Picks here!
For this week’s Bathroom Moment of the Week, we fly to Space aboard SpaceX’s: “Insipration4”
To those who don’t already know, “SpaceX” – Elon Musk’s Aerospace Company – successfully orbited the Earth, for the first time in history with an all-civilian crew!
While we were told that “The Insipration4” had a smooth journey… according to commander Jared Isaacman… there may have been a “significant” but unspecified issue.
After SpaceX ground controllers jumped into action, it was determined that the alarm was connected to the Dragon's "waste management system" fans, which suction human waste and keep it stored away, according to CNN.
Without the fans, astronaut waste may float out of the toilet due to the lack of gravity in space, ultimately creating a mess.
However, Isaacman has clarified that things did not reach that point: "I want to be 100% clear: There were no issues in the cabin at all as it relates to that," he said on Thursday, per CNN.
"Nobody really wants to get into the gory details," Isaacman said. "Using the bathroom in space is hard, and you've got to be very — what was the word? — very kind to one another... we were able to work through it and get [the toilet] going, even with what was initially challenging circumstances, so there was nothing ever like, you know, in the cabin or anything like that."
