Can you feel it? Summer is in full effect!
Or as they say at Club Med.. “It’s getting Hot, Hot Hot”!
We don’t know about you, but here in New York City, we are beginning to get that Summer heat and humidity!
Since Backyards, or even outdoor space is at a minimum – New Yorkers have to get creative trying to fight the summer heat
For some, this means finding a random Clothing Store blasting AC, and just wandering aimlessly perusing the store, taking full advantage of the frigid air.
For other New Yorkers, like Joshua Torres, he decided to use the Warm weather as a way to bring his community together… by buying a communal inflatable pool for his neighbors on 175th Street.
Whether its communal, or your own private relaxing aquatic sanctuary, swimming is for most people – their favorite summer activity.
For this week’s intro story, we wanted to take moment to highlight a new pool in London, England that has been making a bit of a splash internationally for its unique design…
Introducing the World’s First “Sky Pool”, suspended between two buildings, with a clear bottom… suspended 115 Feet in the air.
These are not mock-ups, or computer-generated images… this is a real pool, with real swimmers, suspended over a real active street, located on the roof of a new development.
The engineers and architects decided an eight-inch-thick acrylic frame with a nearly 12-inch-thick base would provide sound peace of mind for anyone worried about taking the ultimate dip.
We don’t know about you, but we don’t care how hot it gets… we are not stepping foot in that pool.
Imagine playing the classic pool game with your kids, where the first to find the item on the floor of the pool and bring it back wins!
… Only to realize that you are essentially forcing your kids to stare directly down 115 FEET TO THE STREET!
Why they decided to make a Swimming Pool for Evil Kenevil? We will never know

For those of you unfamiliar with his work, Maniscalco has quickly become of the biggest comedians in the World after this particular clip went viral a couple of years back.

We don’t know about you, but singing a long or jamming out in your car is one of the best feelings there is!
