As we said before… this is no regular episode of Potty Time with POTTYMINTS… its freaking WORLD TOILET DAY!!!
So for this week’s Potty Picks… we wanted to do something extra special

Or at least we thought… before seeing this week’s Bathroom Moment of the Week courtesy of “Modern Toilet” a popular bathroom-themed restaurant in Taipei, Taiwan.
At Modern Toilet, diners not only sit on toilets, but they also eat out of Toilet Bowl Shaped Bowls and Bathroom related food items.
You honestly need to see this:

…It looked like fun until the dessert… haha!

The purpose of World Toilet Day is to raise awareness about how many people in the world still lack basic sanitary facilities.
About 74% of the world’s population has basic sanitation.
However, 2 billion people still don’t have access to facilities such as toilets, and 63 million people still have no other option but to defecate in the open.
India, holding the second largest population in the world, unfortunately tops the list for providing poor sanitary facilities to the common people.
UN statistics show that diarrhea caused by poor sanitation and unsafe water kills 315,000 children every year.
World Toilet Day is all about shedding light on a subject that is often deemed inappropriate- the conversation about sanitation issues in the world.
