Goooooood Morning POTTY People!
We want to begin this week’s blog with some exciting news… Suzanna gave birth to a baby boy!
What began with a “lobby bathroom trip” on their first vacation soon blossomed into a family with two kids and a new life… brought to you by the good people at POTTYMINTS!
The baby is named “Mack” after Suzanna’s Grandfather-in-law Mickey, who passed away at 97 in 2021 - and whose life and dedication to his family will serve as an inspiration for Mack forever.
We want to start this week’s blog by thanking each and every one of you for your support for both Suzanna, myself, our family and of course POTTYMINTS to this point!
POTTYMINTS has always been Suzanna’s “first baby” and we assure you - we are just getting started!
Speaking of just getting started… let’s start off this week’s blog with our Main Story of the Week…
A story about a lovely lady… who was bringing up three very lovely girls… and a man named Brady… who was busy with three boys of his own…
This week’s Main Story of the Week is about the Brady Bunch Home… and their newest addition… a working toilet!
Yes, we all remember the iconic ranch-style home that warmed hearts across the nation, "The Brady Bunch" House, located in Studio City, California.
The family and home were beloved by viewers from the late '60s to the early '70s, and well-beyond its TV run with decades of syndication for later generations to enjoy.
While the house had many defining features, one of its most well known rooms was its Jack and Jill Bathroom… but some keen eye audience members noticed one important feature missing… A Toilet.
"Even in 1969, it was a running joke with all of us — that there's no freakin' toilet!" Mike Lookinland, the actor who played Bobby Brady, told Yahoo! Entertainment.
"At the time, the idea was that it was just sort of tacky to be showing toilets on TV," explained Eve Plumb, who played Jan Brady.
Yes, one of the most iconic Bathroom Sharing Families… with no toilet… Yikes!
Have no fear… HGTV is here!
As many of you found out during the pandemic… HGTV’s Home Renovation shows are pretty entertaining
So when HGTV had the opportunity to outbid NSYNC member Lance Bass to purchase the Brady Bunch home… they wasted no time and purchased the home for 3.5 Million Dollars!
Once purchased, any HGTV fan will tell you… if you are talking about home renovations… there are only two guys for the job… and they happen to be brothers… The Property Brothers
Yes, twin brothers Jonathan and Drew Scott aim to help couples find fixer-uppers and transform them into dream homes… and this was no different.
The Property Brothers, with the help of The Brady Bunch family got to work, fixing up the original home… and of course, they began by fixing the bathroom!
"Nowadays, everybody's on the toilet!" exclaimed actress Maureen McCormick who played Marcia.
One the renovation was completed, she gave it the seal of approval when she said, "I have to say I have used it now, and it was good!"
Watch this clip of your favorite members of the Brady Bunch and your favorite renovation brother tag team… talk about the gift that is a working toilet!
Speaking of Potty’s… lets get onto this weeks Potty Picks!
As some of you may know, July 4th Weekend is more than just a celebration of Americas independence… its a celebration of all things America
And we would argue, there are few things more American than the Nathan Hot Dog Eating Competition in Coney Island!
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the competition, competitors are given 10 minutes to chomp down as many Hot Dogs and buns as humanly possible, to ultimately be crowned the winner and receive $10,000.00 if you win!
The GOAT in the sport is a guy named “Joey Chestnut” who holds the record with 76 Hot Dogs in 10 minutes… wow
Chestnut, unsurprisingly won this years competition for the 15th time… so we figured we would briefly show you his technique in a short video - for anyone who gets grossed out easily… you may want to avoid this one!
This summer is a scorcher… so we figured we would give you some tunes to get a sweat on this Summer!
In this section, we choose 5 songs for the week ahead, and share them with you on an ongoing playlist called “POTTY Picks”
This week we feature 5 songs we think you are going to absolutely love with music from:
As if the Brady Bunch story wasn't enough… this week our Bathroom Moment of the Week comes to us from Russia…from “Mr. Sunshine” himself… Vladimir Putin
Now, before we go any further - we want to make it abundantly clear - We are merely a bathroom blog - we are not trying to make any political points here - nor are we trying to bring any politics into your daily life that doesnt need to be
… all that being said… F*&k Putin! #SlavaUkraine
As though he couldn’t get any stranger… Vladimir Putin apparently does not trust anyone, so much so that he makes one of his Bodyguards collect and carry his 💩 in a briefcase, while abroad, to bring back home to Russia.
Yes, you read that correctly… multiple sources confirmed that Vladimir Putin… has one of his Bodyguards… Whose sole Duty it is…. To retrieve and secure… Putins “duty” … to return home to Russia.
Apparently, stealing a leaders 💩 is long held intelligence technique… which sometimes produced gems of intelligence

As you know, we like to end our blogs with a quote for the week ahead, and this week we wanted to feature a quote that we can all use as a source of inspiration for this upcoming week
This weeks quote comes from comedic legend Jim Carrey:
“If you aren't in the moment, you are either looking forward to uncertainty, or back to pain and regret.”
Jim Carrey
We hope you all have a fantastic week and we will see you next Monday for another episode of Potty Time with POTTYMINTS!
